FAQ's

What is KABS FitFactory?
KABS was established in 2014 by Awn Kabariti (CEO) coupled by the support and shared vision of Reem Ibrahim (CSO). They aspired to see their passion translate into a catalyst for change: empowering, inspiring, and building character in pursuit of optimal health. They wanted to create an open, professional, fun and functional health and fitness ‘hub’ that helps shapes lives. One that echoes the discipline and values embedded in fitness.
They believed this was possible by paying particular attention to detail: the overall understanding of nutrition and fitness fundamentals and in its ability to drive positive change; the knowledge and standards applied by a group of experts and in its potential to improve a person’s quality of life; augmented by the application of good nutrition; the biomechanics of sport equipment; the quality of the supplements that fortify a diet; and the personalized service delivered by a support network that caters to individualized consumer and business needs.

I thought only bodybuilders need high protein diets?
Humans are all bodybuilders in some respect. The difference is, bodybuilders need high amount of protein to increase muscle tissue, endurance athletes need protein primarily to repair existing muscle tissue that is undergoing constant breakdown from day-to-day training.

If women consume proteins in high level, will it cause unwanted weight gain and muscle growth?
It all goes down to the type of training you engage in, this is the main factor in determining whether you bulk up or not. There are different types of proteins, women usually use isolated protein (free of sugar, fat, and carbohydrates), this will only give the amount of protein required for your cells and internal organs to function properly. People in general and women specifically don not reach the minimal required protein intake in their diets.
I don’t sustain an athletic lifestyle, do I need proteins?
Yes, protein is an important macronutrient used by the body for building, repairing and maintaining tissues. Proteins are part of every cell, tissue, and organ in our bodies. If you don’t consume enough protein from protein rich foods in your diet, you need to take supplements to increase your intake and meet your requirements.
Are there any side effects to supplements?
No, when supplements are taken at recommended and appropriate servings they will not cause any harm to the body. Make sure you inform our consultants of any medical condition you have, and always drink considerable amount of water.
